Now based in the Vic Falls, Zimbabwe, Mike has been working as a part time consultant with APS on several projects.

Joel is originally from South Africa, but has in excess of ten years experience at top design firms in New York, Cape Town, Zimbabwe, Dubai, and Vietnam.

He has a strong interest in architecture that goes beyond the site - with positive feedback that extends into the urban or community context.

His approach to design is to find the best balance between functionality in use, and expression in aesthetics - This is where he believes that design thrives.

As environmental responsibility and sustainability become ever more important in our society, he believes Architects and designers need to gain a new understanding and approach to efficiency.


 

His broad international expertise includes working as a Project Architect for large urban projects, and Design Manager for substantial hospitality projects.

He is also an expert at online media promotion.
